Chris Bond, owner and chef at Pomodoras Fine Foods sheds a little light on his ‘not-so-secret’ ingredient… “As a kid growing up in Dorset, England, I always ate my fish and chips with vinegar and I would come home from school and make myself a vinegar sandwich. As an 18 year old commis chef at the exclusive Goring Hotel, London, directly behind Buckingham Palace, I was introduced to exquisite, 25 year old aged balsamic vinegar – smooth, delicate, yet dark and rich in flavour with a syrupy density that meant you could drizzle it over salads, roasted vegetables, lamb or pork. Moving to Australia in 2005, I continued chefing and exploring the wealth of new ingredients available. When my wife and I began working for ourselves, running our own café, I explored how to make Mediterranean cuisine even more interesting through my love of Balsamics. My orange Vincotto balsamic creation makes strawberries pop with flavour. It’s orange zest and port base adding long sweet notes to a rocket and parmesan salad or making a risotto exciting to the last mouthful.”

Enjoy espresso, cold press and filter coffee from a host of local roasters presented by the Coast’s best baristas working on state of the art espresso and filter equipment.
Big Heart Bamboo
Big Heart Bamboo is a grower, supplier and manufacturer of gourmet edible bamboo shoots. We provide award winning restaurants with fresh bamboo shoot and preserves. We recently were featured on ABCs Landline Program and have also just recently won an award with delicious magazine for our Asper bamboo shoots. Our preserves have recently made their way into the retail market in both Brisbane & Sunshine Coast.

The Fresh Chai Co.
The Fresh Chai Co. is tea's answer to craft small-batch beer or locally roasted coffee. We start with the best 100% Organic & Fairtrade whole spices, stone grind them to release the aroma and flavour, then preserve the full vibrant flavour of the spices in local organic raw honey. Add organic long leaf Assam tea leaves, and either warming ginger, rich cacao, or whole vanilla bean pieces and the result is a sticky delectable concoction with a flavour that just gets better and better the longer it sits.
The farm has been run by the Carmichael Family since 1980, and has been open to the public most of that time. Our Sunshine Coast Farm is now open all year, with our picking season running from June to November. Bunya Red Farm
Bunya Red Farm capers & caperberries are grown in the red soil looking out towards the Bunya Mountains in the South Burnett Qld. The seasonal crop is all handpicked, washed and then salted with Australian sea salt. After curing, they are graded and packed ready to enjoy.

Now in its third year, the GrowCoastal food innovation accelerator program nurtures local producers looking to scale fast, bring their vision to life and deliver new food and beverage innovations to the world. Since 2014 Frozen Sunshine had been reinventing the classic Aussie iceblock with their range of handcrafted iceblocks made with all-natural, plant-based ingredients. Made in small batches on the Sunshine Coast and available in a range of over 8 fruity and creamy flavours, Frozen Sunshine iceblocks feature real Aussie fruit, organic coconut milk and top quality ingredients like real vanilla, Belgian Chocolate, and vegan cookies baked from scratch. All flavours in the range are dairy-free, gluten-free, egg-free, and nut-free, making them perfect for vegans and people with food allergies and intolerances.
We are a small scale mushroom farm, based on the Blackall Range, specializing in gourmet and exotic varieties. We supply fresh mushrooms to local restaurants and have a weekly market stall where we sell grow at home mushroom kits, shiitake logs and fresh mushrooms to the public.

Creating beautiful cheese is our passion. Originally founded by Graeme and Karen Paynter in 2013, our range has grown to include Camembert, Triple Cream Brie, Blackall Gold Washed Rind, Ash Brie, Vintage Cheddar and of course our flagship cheese Truffle Triple Cream Brie. All our milk comes from small local farms and is collected daily, pasteurised and then delivered to our factory in Woombye, where we create and produce all our cheese by hand, using traditional methods. All our cheeses are award winners with a total of 21 awards from Dairy Industry Association of Australia, Australian Grand Dairy Awards, delicious. Produce Awards, and more. MALLORYS TOCINO JERKY
Why Tocino Jerky, and not just Jerky? Tocino means bacon in Spanish. It is a high protein, no fat snack. (YES! No fat – because that hinders our preservation process). Our jerky is made of thin slices of lean grass fed meat, which is marinaded in a mixture of salty, sour and sweet ingredients that adds the moist and pleasant bite of flavour. FUN FACT - we're the first and only producer of chicken jerky in Australia!

Pure Mill Chocolate was created in 2016 by local Sunshine Coast environmental scientist and nutritionist Millie Louise. She saw a gap in the market when she couldn't find any chocolate bars with an emphasis on quality and sustainably, as well as health and flavour. Dark, organic, high quality chocolate you can feel good about. Pure Mill Chocolates are made using ethically sourced, organic cacao beans, made from the exceptionally high-quality, native Criollo cacao bean variety. We take pride in making healthy chocolate bars from scratch, which are vegan, paleo, low GI, gluten-free, dairy-free, soy-free, refined sugar-free. Cheese has been made in Kenilworth for more than 60 years. The Cochrane family, dairy farmers in the region for six generations, became the owners of the Kenilworth cheese factory in June 2017. Now known as Kenilworth Dairies, they provide the freshest, highest quality milk from their dairy farms in the nearby Mary Valley. And so a tradition of ‘udderly’ delicious and ‘udderly’ nutritious cheese, yoghurt and other fine dairy foods will continue for many years to come.
