Callan Boys joined Nine as the national food and wine writer for Fairfax Media in 2014. He writes extensively about restaurants, farming, brewing, distilling and winemaking for The Sydney Morning Herald, Brisbane Times and The Age.

Boys was editor of the Brisbane Times Good Food Guide until Australia’s dining bible went national in 2017, awarding coveted chefs hats to restaurants from coast to coast for the first time in the Guide’s 35-year history. He is now a senior restaurant reviewer for the national Good Food Guide.

His favourite food is ramen, except on Sundays when it’s tagliatelle al ragu.
